Tiger Barbs in 15 gal tank??

I was thinking of adding a small school (7-ish) of Tiger Barbs to a fifteen gallon tank. Right now, it's kind of "in-transition" so it only has 4 albino cory cats in it. Will the tank be able to handle the tiger barbs? Will the corys co-exist happily with the tiger barbs?

(the tank has been properly--fishlessly--cycled)

Tiger barbs prefer to be in tanks that have more horizontal room. Keeping a school of seven in a 15 gallon won't be sufficient, nor would it be a a suitable bioload. You'd be pushing limits. For a school of seven, I'd recommend a 29 gallon, at the minimum a 20.
