Unhappy Tiger Barb Helps

Is it normal for TigerBarbs to stay in the bottom of the tank most of the time. I just got them like 2 days ago. They eat but only when the food starts to sink or if i drop the food with the mouth of the filter is so the current can push it down to the bottom. Please help. Thanks.

How many are they? If they're less than 5 or 6, they are a bit stressed and need more company of the same kind. But if they're enough in number, they could just be adjusting to new surroundings. Wait a few more days. At least they're eating. That's a good sign. Just don't overfeed.

Your fish love watching you as much as you love watching them. So please practice responsible fishkeeping.

Good news everyone!! My barbs are now doing well. I guess they were just getting adjusted to the tank. Eating well and moving well. Thanks so much to everyone that helped me out.

Yay!! I was hoping that was the case.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
