Hi and welcome aboard, Burn.

Yes as long as the size of your tank permits.:)

They're not antennae, but rather the "bristles". No, they don't. They bother mostly the fish dwelling in the mid and surface levels. I would rather go with pentazonas than the tigers. The former is more peaceful whereas tigers can limit your choices due to fin-nipping issues.

Did you mean the angelfish(Pterophyllum scalare)?:) If so, I'd choose the scalare rather than the barbs.:) They're more stunning but this limits you the choices of getting tetras. Scalares tend to eat slim-bodied tetras like neon tetras but there are lots of choices available. I'd recommend you try diamond tetras(Moenkhausia pittieri). They're stunners.

Diamonds are deep-bodied characins and are absolute stunners especially when mixed with angelfish. Cardinal tetras are also good options as they grow bigger than neons but a bit more expensive.

By the way, here's a pic of Puntius pentazona(formerly Barbus pentazona).:)

They seem a little slimmer compared to Barbus tetrazona and often have 5 bars on their body.:)
