How many B. rams would be appropriate?
I have some cichlid stones and pvc pipes for hiding.

It's up to you for rams, I would go 5 or 6

There not too picky with m/f ratios but the ideal ratio is 2-3 females per male

Well they're both pretty peaceful and yes, bolivians are hardier but blue Germans are more colorful so it depends what you'd prefer

well the rainbows i want are colorful and with the cardinals and clown loaches should be a nice tank.

so maybe ill stick with the boliveans
