Stocking Question

Does anyone have Tiger Barbs together with cherry barbs?

I understand that they may not get along to well?

Hi Busgod, I've never kept the two together but have read that keeping the two can lead to major problems with aggression from the tiger barbs.

Personally, I wouldn't attempt it.

What do you currently have in the tank, and what size is it?

A 4-footer tank with tiger barbs and loaches is far more entertaining than the tigers and cherries together.

I can see a tank with a very dark substrate ( black) , tiger barbs and clown loaches. That to me would be very eye catching.

There comes a point in your life when you realize
who matters,
who never did,
who won't anymore....
and who always will.
So, don't worry about people from your past.
There is a reason they didn't make it to your future.

Funny thing I am planning to get some tiger barbs for my tank already containing several loaches.
