red tailed shark

Hello I have a 50 gallon tank right now with 6 tiger barbs in it. Im going to get a few more tiger barbs and about 6-8 corydoras. I was wondering if its ok to add a single red tailed shark into this fish community?

They can get large (9") so I would vote: no. You are right, however, about only getting one as they are agressive towards their own species.

90gal: 2x Tangerine Discus, 2x Clown Pleco, 2x Catfish.
75gal + 10gal sump: 2x Large Goldfish, 1x Common Pleco, 14x Leopard Danios
55gal: 5x Angelfish, 1x Common Pleco, 8x SIlver Tip Tetras, 16x Neon Tetras, 8x Albino Corys

I find confilcting information, too, I see from 6"-9". I assume it is Epalzeorhynchus bicolor.

It is, Josh.;) 4 inches is an understatement. 5-6 inches is common.

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.
