This is a picture of a fish I am trying to rehome. I believe it is a very unhappy goldfish that has lost its pigmentation, though I don't know what kind. He is currently being kept in a betta bowl and is about 3.5"-4.5". I am trying to get a better picture of his tail, but this is what I have for now.

gosh,poor thing.
looks like it's of the carp family.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

I believe we figured out that it's a common goldfish. He's going to be temporarily wintering in a 10 or 15 gallon and rehomed into a goldfish pond come spring.

right conditions. :)

Nice :) I like stories with a happy ending.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
