I put 5 of these (almost 2 inches long) in my gourami tank that HAD a snail problem. These botias are excellent snail eaters.
They're fun to watch, mostly stay in group, are not that shy and dont bother tankmates, even tho most sites said they are quite feisty and can be agressive.
Gold with 5-6 vertical black bands in a saw-tooth pattern. I read somewhere that there's also a greenish color morph.
Dont know their adult size...the guy at the fishstore said 4 to 5 inches max. Sites contradict each other on this. Maybe somebody can give a concrete answer on this

Sorry, girl! That's a Synodontis ocellifer, not Synodontis eupterus.

I couldn't remember which type of syno you had bought, I only remembered that I named her JLo, LOL!
