Loach?

Are there any loach species that are small? I use to have Clown Loaches in a 50 gallon tank and I really liked them. But now I am looking for something to help get rid of snails that showed up in one of my 10 gallon tanks.

A really nice small loach is the dwarf chain loach (Yasuhikotakia sidthimunki ). They are a little pricey ($12.00 at my LFS) but if I had room in my tank I'd add a group! Loaches are very social, as you know, and this species should be kept in a group of at least five to truly thrive. They max out at 2.5" and area adorable.
You can also always try using a piece of spinach or lettuce to rid the tank of unwanted snails. Place the spinach or lettuce leaf in the tank at night. In the morning you can remove the spinach (or lettuce), snails and all.

I may go with assasin snails for that tank they are pretty and do not multiply like the ones that are in there now. I think they are pond snails they showed up after I purchased some Java Moss. The first one was cute but now I have seen already at least 4 more little bitty ones I was hopeing the Betta might eat them but no luck.

I have assassin snails. The young ones took over 4 months before they showed up for the first time since hatching. They are indeed slow breeders and growers. You could sell the lot for $4 each.

So far I have not been able to find any assasin snails around here but I am not giving up yet. LOL I am going to a local shop this weekend the owner told me one time a long time ago that if I ever needed a fish that they did not have to let her know and she could order it so maybe she could do the same thing with the snails.

I have a sumo loach and they only get to about 4 inches...theyre more solitary...and dojo loaches are good with snails too, but they reach to around 10 inches
