Killies or bettas.

So I have both a 10g and a 20 cube I will be tearing down in the new year. I've been wanting to try my hand at either killies or bettas. What do you all prefer? I'd like to geta super nice strain of either and work with breeding them. I kind of like killies myself but I know some folks really like bettas.

My setup would be either,
10g or 20 cube
Eheim 2217 canister filter
power compact lighting, either 24w or 48w depending on which tank.
small heater

So who votes for what and what trade name or species do you recommend?

Firemouth Killifish(Epiplatys dageti) is worth a try. Stunning. Sparkling Panchax are also nice in a 20 gallons.

Sent from my desktop or phone or whatever else I am holding on to 2
