Invertebrate compatibilty with Danios?

I have long finned zebra danios and am wondering which invertebrates are compatible with them.

(I am not wanting something that will be much larger than them).

My water is on the acidic side.

Shrimp will likely be eaten unless you have some heavy planting. Apple/mystery snails don't do well in acidic water. You could do ramshorn snails or malaysian trumpet snails; they do okay in acidic waters.

I keep danios and shrimp together and have never had a problem with either interacting.

Amano shrimp would be a bit too large for the Danio's to consider attacking for a quick meal.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.
