| || | That's not 5-yr old unless that is already stunted. At 4-5", it should be at least 1-2 years old. Goldfish can live for at least 20 years if given proper care for.

There are other exceptions, like bubble-eye and celestial eye goldfish, which do better if kept with members of the same variety.
