should i do a large water change or just enough to get out the uneatin food? testing shows 0,0,0 which i dont know how thats possible but i did do a 90% water change today. im probably going to get a new test kit asap.

When is the expiration date on this test kit? You might need a new one.

Just do enough of a water change as to remove the uneaten food. As for eating, try adding garlic to the fish's food. Also withholding food for a few days is a good idea.

I would withhold for for 3 days and then try the blanched spinach. It is very easy to digest. In the meantime, keep an eye out and see what his poop looks like.

It's softening a vegetable by breaking up the cell walls. You can do it either by freezing or boiling it. The purpose is to partially "cook" the vegetable and make it more easily digestible.
