Are Gold Barbs as bad with the nipping as other barbs?

I have read that they aren't as bad as other barbs, but since I've never kept them I can't speak with authority on the subject.

i found them to seem less nippy than the tigers,a little more
docile if you like yeah i guess they were when i think back.
they were kept with green tigers,and red tigers.

Thanks for the replys. I have a couple with a Guppy in my community and theyve never bothered him but i put my male betta in with them (he's very very docile for a betta) and I found some small nips on his fins. In this tank theres gold barbs, guppys, zebra danios and cories. I never saw any of them really nipping but one time i saw the gold barbs following and almost pestering him. I took him out after two days and put him in a 2.5 gallon tank and he's completely fine. I figured it was probably the gold barbs.

i would have said the guppies.
when i have had guppies,i always keep melafix to hand,they always end up with
tails that have been nipped.
