I'm sure Guppie Luver was speaking hypothetically, and that they hypothetically helped a hypothetical friend and of course really wouldn't do that in real life because it's illegal .

I bet if you google that and put in the word Japan, something will pop up. I remember recently seeing a story about fish that we're dyed-tatoo'd simple words, hearts things like that to make them popular. This was in Japan or China, I can't remember which - Japan, I think.

It does go on, and they have to work quick because the fish is out of water for this.

It's very funny they still have to patent a fish that breeds regularly. Implementation of that patent is rarely ever enforced.

Okay, you are so wrong and so obnoxious I don't even know what to say. I have 5 glofish currently, I have had them for a year, and I love them to death. Also, if you actually researched them and didn't take your info from a crap website then you would have seen that they are not dyed. These are healthy, happy fish that have transformed my community aquarium into something else.

Well, here's an open-minded and welcoming attitude!
Chill, no need to be insulting to folks who post .
The whole point of the forum is to learn and enjoy the hobby.
