fancy goldfish in a 55g?

Hi!
I have never kept Goldfish before but my obsession is growing. I would like to know how many Goldfish I could put in a 55g tank. I am prepared for huge weekly water changes, etc. I plan to have Black Moor, Calico Ryukin, Oranda, and I don't know what else. I am sharing the tank with my brother. It is my tank but I agreed to let him have 2 Goldfish in the tank. He wants a pair of orandas. Is this a problem? Will they breed? I just want 1 Black Moor, 1 Calico Ryukin, and maybe a Red Ryukin?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You could do 4 as long as you have great filtration. Messy fish - as bad as plecos! A black moor, ryukin and a couple of orandas should do fine. I have fantails and a telescope eye in a pond, and they are HUGE now. Awesome fish. Really friendly, too. :)
