Does your Celestial Pearl Danio do this?

I have had my Celestial Pearl Danios (Galaxy Rasbora) for about a month. I recently did a re-scape of their tank and the good news is they looooove it. But I am confused. I have read everywhere that they like still water, but not mine. I moved my hob filter from the middle to the right side because I felt like they were struggling against the current when I fed them. I looked over a bit later and they were surfing the current! They would all swim over to the current in a straight light and hold until they all got there and then stop fighting in at let it carry them to the other side of the tank - then do it again. I watched for ten minutes at least while they did this non-stop.

By the way, they are loving their coconut huts, I have never seen them take to anything like they have with these things. It looks like they are playing musical chairs with them.

I don't have any danios so can't tell you about them but my platys will get in a group and play in the stream of water when I refill the tank during water changes. It cracks me up every time.

I've got one of those coconut shells in my community tank and for some reason, only the emperor tetras hang out in there. Maybe they've marked it as theirs somehow?
