I've had some issues with my Oranda.
For the last week we think she's been pretty good - we noticed she had some 'floaty' episodes which we attributed to a bit of overfeeding and water temp being too cold.
I have since upped the water temp to approx. 22 Degrees C which seems to have helped no end.
Her dorsal fin seems to be much more perky and the 'floaty' issues have now completely stopped.
My issue now is that i've not seen her poo very much and the only time recently that I have, it's been really thin and stringy.. she used to do pretty big poo's.
She's been fasted twice in the last 4 weeks while we've been trying to get her back to normal and we generally feed her much less.
We feed once a day and only as much as her eye / as much as she can fit in her mouth.
We mix her food between New Life Spectrum small fish formula and TetraColour pellets.
I also give her a pea / little bit of blanched spinach but what i've noticed recently is that she seems to gobble up the pea (I only feed half a pea cut into 4/5 smaller pieces as she's only a tiny fish) and then 5 minutes later it's all back on the bed of the tank.
I'm worried that she's got digestive issues....
In these photo's does she look bloated to anyone else?
I can tell that she's not as bloated as she was before we upped the water temp. but i'm not convinced she's 100% happy.
Can anyone suggest anything?
