Compatability with a Betta

I currently have Tiger Barbs and Serape Tetras in my tank and they get along very well. I also have a Betta in a Betta tank. The Barbs and Tetras get along great. Would the Betta be ok in there?

I don't think that would work. Tiger barbs are very nippy and would shred your bettas fins.

Thanks! Thats kinda what I was thinking too but just wanted to double check. I'm supposing they would do the same thing to a female betta? I'm just trying to add a little color to the tank.

How big is your tank? Bottom dwellers are the best bet, as they generally get along with bettas.

The Betta tank is 1 gallon. The tank with the barbs and tetras is 10 gallons.

I have three barbs and three tetras. Was asking about placing the betta in there but was worried about them attacking him. My suspicion was confirmed with an earlier answer.

Thanks! :)
