i aquired a new 15 gal tank last night, free to a good home! i needed it due to my existing small tank was infected with lice and after treatment started to recycle and i lost 5 fish. it came with everythin including a huge 6" chinese algae eater. it is orangy in colour, i googled it last night and it fits the description perfect. it has the holes above its gills etc. thing is apparently its nasty so wat do i do with it? its on its own at the mo but i cant keep it if its gonna attack my other fish right? i didnt think they got that big
I have one in my 450 with all my bichirs and bottom dwellers and have never had a problem with it. Watch it around the new fish and if there are problems then remove it.
