Botia kubotai

I put 6 Botia kubotai in with my Puntius denisonii . I'm excited about these loaches as I love a black and white fish ! Anyone have pictures of their adult B. kubotai , I'd love to see your 6 inch adults . I've only seeing pictures of small guys ( 2-3 inchers) online and in person.

Botia kubotai only attain close to five inches. And if mine are any indication, they are slow to do so. I've had my group of five for three years, and they are around 3 to 3.5 inches. Spawning too, fascinating to watch.

The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. [unknown source]

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If youíre going to take it under your wing then youíre responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
