Barb ID please?



I think it's a barb at least..

taking a break from fish-keeping.
3 lovely male betta still keep me company.

I think I just saw them at the fish store the other day. 8 line barb I think they called it.

125 - BGK, chanchito cichlid, pictus cats, silver dollars, palmas bichir
125 - cichlids (severums, bolivian rams, chocolate), rainbows ( turquoise, red), loaches (angelicus, zebra, kuhli and horseface), plecos (BN, RL and clown), denison barbs, tiretrack eel, pearl gouramis, betta
90 - Congo tetras, african knife, upside down cats, spotted ctenopoma, kribensis, delhezzi bichir
2.5 - betta

Dang i have never seen those before, and I have seen a lot of fish lol. They sort of look like barred barbs. But I have no idea.

I was hoping for a species name but nothing comes up under that...
They said they are from Singapore but I'm not sure if that meant wild caught there or bred. :/ darn buggers..

taking a break from fish-keeping.

Perhaps it's a barb cousin - a rasbora.

Im doubting bred. I have never seen ones that have lines like that, i have seen ones with blue than black lines, also another one but to thick lines, also another one that but they are to skinny. Idk this is hard!
