Hi,
The smallest fish I have in my tank are some Harlequin Rasboras, and I am thinking of getting Bala Sharks but I was told that Bala sharks are not aggressive, but will eat fish small enough to fit into their mouth. First of all is it true that they will eat fish? And Secondly, is a Rasbora small enough to fit into the mouth of a full grown Bala Shark? (I have never seen a full grown one) I know Bala's get quite large, but apparently they have small mouths?

I had Bala sharks and they were the most peaceful fish ive ever had; they were with a school of neons and harlequins and rummy noses and not an issue. However they do get very very big (sometimes over a foot) and they need to be in a school of at least 4, so only get Bala sharks if you have a massive tank

You can find more info in the profile, click the shaded name: Bala Shark.

As noted therein, a 8-foot tank is recommended as this fish can atain 14 inches or more, and needs a grouop.
