What would be the recommended amount for my tank? Would you think a trio is good?

Also the picture you included looks exactly like the one I saw in my LFS (the skunk Cory).

As this will be the only cory (due to space) I would suggest 4-5. A couple chunks of bogwood will make them very happy. Corys love constantly browsing over surfaces, and they like shelter when they feel the need, such as under a ledge provided by a chunk of wood.

That should be fine. Pretty sure that they had 4 when I looked, I hope they didn't have 6. I'd hate to leave 2 by themseleves. I think I'll go with 4

Just to confirm with you, these are the same Cory that they have in the LFS. (This fish store isn't my local one, it's just the best video I could find that gives a good shot of them).

The 4 Skunk Corys are acclimating now! They had excactly 4 at my LFS, so no one was left whine either :D
