I had a anenome split last month. The new small one has been trying to get settled. It has been moving around quite a bit. Yesterday before work I noticed that it was up around the over-flow. It some how found its way through a power head! Has anyone heard of that before? Of course there was nothing left but little pieces. I spent last night doing a 50% water change and there will be more to follow. Dan
Happens all the time. Doesn't even have to be because of a split. New anemones are especially prone. Established anemones will move from time to time and the same fate typically awaits them.
never heard of an anemone suicide but i hope it's not that bad.
