Hi all i just got a wet/dry filter. I had 2 hang on the back filters , I took off the little one ,but can I change the filters in the one that I left on the tank?

Stupid ? is it a fish only or a reef setup? how much live rock? What size tank is it? Most saltwater tanks dont even use carbon. Thats why I have to ask those simple ?'s

Sorry it's a 55gal reef ,50 lbs of liverock ,3 annomes ,4 fish small.48" coralife 50/50 65w lighting

just asking, dont really want to see them die off since they are beautiful creatures

you may change the filter media if you like but i wouldnt suggest a carbon filter as they cant tell the difference between bad impurities and good impurities.
