I would be researching requirements as far as gas exchange (water flow) and lighting go, because whatever it is, it's happening slowly so the problem is most likely long-term, like placement or something. im having a hard time following what you mean. the first 2 pictures are when i got it, in that bad condition. if you see the other pictures it has doubled if not tripled in size and colored up.
