Rose coloured, bubble tip anemone

I was just given a rose coloured, bubble tip anemone .today. but at this moment all I have is a 15 watt florecent bulb for my 30 gal..good water flo,..any advice on diet and lighting and stuff would be cool...thx

Honestly, give it back or take it to a LFS that will accept it. Anemones are some of the most difficult to keep marine aquarium animals that you will ever own. The most advanced marine aquarists struggle to keep them for any reasonable period of time, given that they have a 200 year natural life span when left in the ocean.

Generally accepted conditions for captive care would require Nitrate readings of zero, compact florescent lighting or better, and extremely advanced knowledge of the hobbyist.

I wish I could but he no longer has his tank...So for now i went out and bought a power glo florecent tube and I'm keeping a good eye on the levels..I;m feeding it mysis shrimp once a day..It hasnt lost any color or seems distressed so far but I need to get some good lighting and a little knowledge so i dont lose it..and that's my next question..it it does get sick and die can it compromise the rest of the tank? Anymore advice is awsome..thx
