Reefs2go Pods?

I'm interested in purchasing the 1000 count Amphipod/Copepod Pack from Reefs2Go, And I wanted to see if anyone had experience with them and this particular purchase. It says buy one get one free, does that mean I will really be getting around 2000 Pods? My mandarin is not exactly scrawny be I'd like him to be fatter and make his life the best it can be within a glass cage.. I planned to order but wanted some input if available.

I see they also have 500 ct pods buy 1 get 1 to make it a even 1000 if that helps

37 gal bow front (saltwater)
octopus 150 skimmer
external penguin bio wheel 150 packed with cheato
ETH 200 watt inline heater
3 power heads 500gph
in line UV sterilizer

30 gal (brackish)
bio filter
under-gravel 2 power-heads 250gph
