I had two tanks, Between RO/DI water changes, chillers for temperature, high electric bills from lighting, shipping SPS & Zoa frags, Wife overfeeding when i worked late. And the hardest thing is going on vacation i needed another reefer to top off water, check Corals fish & water. Someone who can notice a problem coming, and be able to try & save corals.

I miss it, but it was like getting my life back. I stay away from ReefCentral & my local reef club because i get the itch

Tanks were up & running about 7 years, i enjoyed it Now trying to get a Betta tank up for my son

Back to researching that!
You're banging your head over setting upa betta tank? Why's that? After reefing you should be able to do this with your eyes closed.

Because the deal was if my son wanted to start keeping fish he would research them, he hasn't

"Wow I love that clam! how big were the tanks?" Thanks! Very desirable clam to collectors, i could have gotten more for it.
The tanks were 75g hard corals mostly Acros, clams & a 25g Zoo tank, Some polyp's Were worth over $100 each.

A lot of money in Irreplaceable corals, thats why i worried when i wasn't around to monitor the tanks.

A better pic of that clam.
