mysterious creature of the unknown!

Hey!

So me and my girlfriend just put our live rock in for the cycling process and this appeared after only three days of the tank running. We had our light on for two of the days. I then read somewhere and it said not to have the light on during cycling to prevent algae growth. Does anyone know what this might be? and is it true we should not put our lights on yet?

While I cant be sure exactly what it is, (the picture is a little small) I found a nice resource that might help you identify your specimen. Hope you find out what it is
