ID help with new creature

Can anyone ID this (red string looking thing on back of glass). Slow moving but does change shapes day to day. Has pretty much been in the same place on the glass for 4-5 days. Also, a name for my new coral also in the picture. I swear I need to write this crap down when I buy it.

Coral kinda looks like Star Polyps. Not to sure about that one though
The red thingy, Ah, not to sure on that one either. Looks like a teeny weeny Gorgonian, but really really not to sure on that one.
Need close up shots of those babies.

Actually figured out they are called purple clove polyps. Some feel they're very invasive as they are fast growers but I like the look of them. I really need to get a better pic of the red thing in the back. It's starting to change more and more.

Bah, I've got those in my tank, Put em on their own big piece of rock away from the rest of the rock, they should just take over that rock.

OK, wish I could get a better picture of the "creature" This thing has now split on the glass and there is two of them. Not getting much bigger. On my next water change, the lfs guy said to see what it feels like, hard or soft, but he has no idea what it is either.

Well, so much for the alien creature. The lfs guy said next time I'm in there cleaning, try and see if it's hard or soft. Well, it's soft. I barely touched the thing and it pretty much smooshed. Hoping another one shows up but I don;t have high hopes. ON a side note, thelfs guy was doing maintenance on his show tank in the store and said "come take a look at this. I just noticed it and have no idea what it is." I took a look and it's exactly the same as mine was. I told him not to touch it as it's extremely fragile. I may get an ID out of that thing yet.

I've just been all over Google, couldn't find a thing :/

Sorry. :(

Hello! I'm a former fishkeeper and bettafish.com-er with a rekindled interest in the betta hobby. I don't have any bettas currently, but I'm brushing up on my fishkeeping knowledge with the intention of eventually bringing home another finned friend. ^_^
