ich and cleaner shrimps

ok for the past month or so my fish have the white spot (ich) but i can't seem to shake it, it hasnt killed any fish. It just hangs around on my fish from time to time. i tried turning up the heat and all that but cant use the medication because of the live rock i have in the tank and also my anemone...
i have heard that cleaner shrimp will clean parasites off of fish so would it eat the free floating Ich or something this needs to stop...i think its only a myth of the sorts. but i know when i did have a cleaner shrimp i never really lost a fish to ich. but sadly he was eaten by a giant hermit crab my girlfriend bought me.

It will be your choice. As long as you are sure the tankmates will not prey on cleaner shrimps, you'll be okay. Just vary the diet so your fish can obtain vitamins to strengthen their resistance against ich.

Remove the fish to a smaller tank with no substrate or decorations. Treat them in that tank for at least a month. This will allow the ich parasites to lose their cycle in the display tank without a host. You can treat away in the quarantine tank and then place the fish back into the display.
