I am about to start my reef tank but will the construction i am doing to the house

Hi Guys

I started construction on the house and was wondering if i start my reef tank did construction doing drywall painting and other thinks will this affect the tank. i really want to start my tank because i wont be done until the end of next year. Is there a way to protect it.

My knee jerk reaction is to wait on the reef tank.

1) Chemicals. fumes etc...While not a sure thing, cycling, populating and in general, getting a tank rolling with all the hecticness, dust, fumes, paint etc might be difficult at best.
2) I would suspect there may be many times when covering the tank would be necessary...not easy with lights and the like.

Perhaps, the framework and undertank setup and "guts" might be doable.

It may work fine, but if it were me, I'd take on one headache at a time.
