As I stated earlier, Formula 1 frozen cubes (thawed completely in a cup of tank water for at least 15 - 20 minutes) is the best food. I have yet in over 10 yrs to see any bubble anemone that didn't thrive on this alone. Other food possibilities are krill, other small frozen and raw
shrimp, and any other frozen and raw meaty foods.
Simply break up the food and drop it directly over the anemone. The anemone will catch it and feed itself, and will usually curl up for a while during the process of digestion. Most anemones will open again within 24 - 48 hrs.
when i get in the freezer should i wash it on distilled water first or from the freezer to the aquarium.
When it comes from the freezer it should be placed in a cup of tank water and let to sit for 15 - 20 minutes, or until completely thawed all the way through. If the food is still frozen in the center when it is fed to the animal, it will cause shock which will kill quickly. An anemone can't handle the severe temp differences.
