My friends tank has what look likes peach/orange mushrooms coming off all of his rocks. They are invading his tank. What are these and how do i get them off?!?!

I think those are Zoanthids. A type of coral, definately, though.

You don't like them? I think they're beautiful. Anyway, the first pic looks like Zoanthids, but the second pic makes me think again. Zoathids are poisonous when cut, so I would put on gloves, and try to get all of them off. The poison can kill you. They're actually a sign of a healthy aquarium, and you can buy them in stores.

I think the poison hurts fish, too, so I just wouldn't do it.

I dont think they are those. I know their not good for the tank because the fish dont look healthy :(

Oh, that's not good......How soon until you do a water change?do you have anything you could put in containers so you could get the fish out? And what fish are in there? And water parameters? I'm really very new at the saltwater hobby, in more experienced with freshwater, so you might want to ask a more experienced member their opinion.
