Test strips are completley wrong and inaccurate. You need a liquid kit.

I am unable to offer any assistance until some detailed facts about this setup are posted, including water parameters and equipment.

In the picture of your hammer, the coral is not opening up much. Does it expand much for you? If not, try moving it down a few inches in the aquarium. Hammers are very sensitive to the exact placement in the aquarium. My particular Hammer needed to be place rather deep in the aquarium before it began to grow well. Every one will be different, so you need to figure out what yours likes.

Your alkalinity and calcium can both come up a bit. With both being low, you can simply add a 2 part B-Ionic type product, then test again in 24 hours. Aim for Calcium > 400ppm <500ppm and Alkalinity of 8-12 DKH.
