I dont know what to do with it, should I pick it off or let it grow? Is it good or bad for the tank?

I'm sorry this went unanswered.

The algae itself is not bad for the tank, but it is an indication that there are things to keep an eye on in the aquarium environment. We really need a full detail on your setup. Exactly what are you keeping and what is your filtration?

We also need reading of Nitrate, Alkalinity, and Calcium. I will assume your ammonia and nitrite are zero and your pH is 8.1 to 8.4.
