fromia sea star identification

A friend of mine bought this star from a LFS. Can anyone tell me the classification of it?

I don't believe it is a fromia star, the picture isn't great but the blue tips at the ends of the legs lead me to believe it is a member of linkia multiflora, more specifically the red dalmation linkia.
