First Mushroom Coral

Well i decided to start a reef tank, i have kept fish only tanks for a couple years now and feel that i am capable of taking the next step. I have spent a couple months getting my tank ready for coral, lights, wetdry filters etc etc. I just purchased my first coral, a mushroom coral. Not quite sure what the name of it is called, but it wasnt too expensive so i decided to try it out. Ive had it for a week now, and one of the polyps seems to not be expanding completely, but curls up night like the rest of them. Not quite sure if this is normal operations, but the rest are doing great. Some white mucus material seems to coming from it, but doesnt seem to go anywhere. Maybe you guys can shed some light on this. Here are some pics. Any information would be gladly appreciated. Thanks.

how about more on your setup. size of tank ,lights, sump, skimmer,other tank mates, exact water params including ca, mag and alk, flow, and anything else you can share on it.
