Fire Shrimp Compatability

I've just lost my 3rd Royal Gramma over a 3 week period. These are the only fish I've lost. They were purchased using different retailers. Water Chemistry is fine. My local LFS tells me it could be my Fire Shrimp. It is about 2' long. (I also have a Percula Clown, and 6 line Wrasse). The Royal Grammas all tended to hide in rock crevices on the bottom so I suppose the Shrimp would've had access to them. But everything I've read said the Fire Shrimp was reef compatable. I'm done trying to keep the Grammas, but if it's the shrimp, then I need to stay away from any other bottom dwellers.

Any thoughts? Do these Shrimp tend to go after fish?

Maybe if it's dead, or giving off the sign of death. My girl has 2 of them in a 7g with a handful of different gobies, all about 1" or smaller. The shrimp leaves them alone even though we choose to never feed that tank because of it's small size. So in a 7g tank, that never see food, they could practically reach from glass pane to glass pane and eat whatever they wanted.
