i admitt i dont know much when it comes to maintaning corals, but i do know there is liquid food you squirt on a coral when they open up, wich is when they indicate feeding time

Feeding all depends on what type of corals you plan on keeping. First figure out what kind of corals you wish to keep and go from there. There a few good articles here.. http://saltaquarium.about.com/cs/cor...a/aa020803.htm
Or you could do a google search on feeding a certain type of coral.

In most cases light and fish poop will suffice. However, target and broadcast feeding would supply additional food source for the coral provided that the food item is small or large enough for the coral to eat. LPS need larger food items while SPS need very small items, ie rotifers at about 50 microns.
