caferacermike, I just wanted to tell you thanks for the info. I got home for lunch today and everything is starting to come alive again. I leathers I had were shedding there outer layer along with a polyp rock of some sort(I'm not good with names) Everything else is starting to get used to the light. I'm going to turn them on for 15 mins longer each day till I reach about 4 hrs a day. :D

Awesome.

Leathers shedding?


If possible skim wet and run heavy carbon and toss it every other day for a few days. Leathers have toxins that can wipe out a tank if irritated. Not saying they are irritated, in fact it sounds like they are super excited. Just better to be safe than sorry. Wouldn't want them releasing their stuff in the water all at once.
