Can anyone identify this hitch hiker?

He came with live rock, and is apparently the worse for wear and tear.

If it is the starfish then they are a hardy safe hitch hiker for the most part.usually eating diatom algae.

Yeah, and they split and "reproduce" often, so they never look symmetrical (at least in my experience...)

Yep, agree with what has been said.
I have about 18 in my tank, although probably more now, usually only see them after the main lights are off and the night lights are on.

10g Fry / Hospital / QT tank (as needed)

75g Saltwater Reef, Ocellaris Clownfish, Lyretail Antias (baby), Lemon damsel, Longtail Fairy Wrasse, purple dottyback, snails, crabs and a few LPS corals.

220g Still sitting empty (come on Lottery I need the numbers to come up!)
