After a weekend at my grandparents house, i came back to my house to find that my anemone was gone! I searched everywhere, and found this weird white macaroni thing blocking a hole at the side of a rock. I look at the entrance of the hole on the top, and there i saw the top of the anemone, 4 inches INSIDE of the rock. The hole look REALLY small and i never though it could squeeze itself inside of that, all the way to the bottom. My question is if it will ever get out of that, since its foot is not really attached to anything since its at the "exit" hole on the rock. Its foot look real vulnerable to anything that wants to nip at it, since its tentacles are inside of the rock.
(10 gal tank)
Can it manage itself in this hole? Is it natural for an anemone to take shelter in such a tight hole? Thanks.
PS: The "stem" of the anemone is usually orange, and the very bottom is PURE WHITE... can it change colors? or is the bottom always PURE WHITE?
Thanks a bunch because this is starting to freak me out.
