I have had my green carpet anemone in my tank now for about 2 weeks and it still hasn't attached it self to any thing it is still just floating in the sand bed.

Is that ok?

Those are like the sabea anemone. They like to be on bottom. Mine finally attach to a rock on the bottom.

If it is floating it may have taken in an air bubble, generally will kill them. Check to see if it is still sticky, you may need to lift it out of the tank. if it is tacky then it is still healthy.
