You can't know what you don't know...

So in figuring out what cichlids I wound up with from Mr. Ebay, I got a duplicate of what I thought was an adult male Auratus.

And then I looked them up.

I don't have an Auratus. What I have looks nothing at all like an adult male Auratus. I have two adult male Johanni.

I swear, I really can read labels on fish tanks in the store...

After the lot of them are out of the 4 week quarantine, I'll have a list up here of who will be needing a new home.

Anybody here keep peacock cichlids?
