would a yellow lab mix with the species below?

i have a 29 gallon tank that was a yellow lab tank and well all but one died of fungus i am treating the 29 now but i think i would like to do something other then yellow labs this time around...

tomorrow i will be getting rid of the comon pleco for a smaller better looking species

non of thefish below are any where near big enough to eat a yellow lab so other then that would there be problems of putting him in there in the future?

depending on your water PH I would say it doesn't hurt.

Yellow labs like other african cichlids like ph 8 or something around that.
I have personnaly two yellow labs in a community tank with dwarf cichlids (apistogramma Borelli) who like PH 6 or around. All these guys are in an aquarium which has a PH of 6.8 to 7 and every body is happy. I don't know if the fact that these fishes are not directly coming from the wild makes them less sensisitve to the PH value as everybody is saying in the books or articles speeking about them.

i've got two yellow labs in my community tank,
two males to be exact(they need to be returned)anyway
the reason i say don't do it is the fact that they look
out of place,they should be kept with other mabuna,they then
become part of a lovely feature.

i think im just gona take the yellow lab and the pleco in that tank to a lfs and just convert my 29 to a salt water

i bet it will look wonderfull,salt water have a certain flair
for looking out of this world.
