Will side fins grow back if tattered?

I have an angelfish that I got at a pet store but it's side fins were tattered. I'm guessing from the other fish in the tank picking on it. I'm treating it with Pimafix & Melafix now for something else. I'm on day 6 of treatment. Will the fins on the sidesl grow back over time? My angelfish is a sweety and it does not get picked on by any of my fish in my community tank. It swims around fine and is doing good otherwise.

If its just the edges of the fins down to about half - 3/4 of the way then yes but if the whole fins off it wont. Tatty is repairable, Ive had angelfish scrap before with each other and cause a little dmg that repaired itself over time. Just make sure your water conditions are tip top and you shouldnt have any problems.

If it doesnt repair and only seems to get worse then its probably fin rot, so just keep an eye on it, good thing youve medicated already :)

Thanks, My water is in good shape in the big tank as I do (2) 25% water changes a week because I have 2 Wild Columbian Rams added to my tank recently and they like good water Qty like Discus. I also have a uv/clarifer unit in the tank as well. It's good to know that the fins will heal over time.
