end of story

At some point the number went down to ~15 with no fish removed from the community tank, and stabilized there for about a week. Then one day they were all gone! At this point they were about 1/2 inch long, or I should say before this. A week later there is a batch of eggs in the cave.

Now, with this next batch of eggs should I do something differently? For example, should I remove the cave and mom now or after they hatch?

Use a tank divider to separate the parents and the eggs from the other fish
